The weather was beautiful – bright, warm and full of golden light later in the evening – and the atmosphere matched it. Guests spilled out onto the grounds for afternoon drinks, conversations on the lawn, laughter and hugs under the sunshine. It was the kind of reception where you could feel the closeness of family and friends.

A lovely family connection

This wedding was especially meaningful for me – Molly is the sister of my nephew Seb’s girlfriend, Murphy, so there was a personal thread woven through the day. Being invited to photograph a celebration with familiar faces made it feel even more special. I was even seated at the top table during the meal, which was a real honour and a testament to how welcoming everyone was.

Cheyenne’s bridesmaids sang gospel during the ceremony — rich harmonies lifting the atmosphere and filling the space with something truly special.
