Some weddings are breathtaking the moment you arrive – and Cheyenne and Jack’s celebration at Hengrave Hall was one of them. The long driveway sweeping towards the historic building sets the tone immediately: grand, elegant, and steeped in character. Hengrave Hall is the kind of venue that feels like a fairytale backdrop, and this wedding lived up to every bit of it.
From the warm, golden weather to the perfectly manicured grounds, the day unfolded as if someone had planned it frame-by-frame. It was a joy to photograph — relaxed, emotional, beautifully put together.
A ceremony filled with music & emotion
One of the most memorable moments of the day took place inside Hengrave Hall’s on-site chapel. Cheyenne’s bridesmaids sang gospel during the ceremony — rich harmonies lifting the atmosphere and filling the space with something truly special. It was one of those moments where you could feel the emotion ripple across the room. Weddings often blur into highlights when you look back, but that moment will stay with everyone who witnessed it.

Golden light, stunning grounds, effortless joy
After the ceremony, guests spilled out into the sunshine to explore the gardens and celebrate together. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect – soft light, blue skies, and warm air that kept everyone outdoors laughing, hugging, catching up and enjoying the grounds. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of life – exactly the kind of day I love to capture naturally.
We took portraits across the grounds, using the architectural backdrops and historic textures of Hengrave Hall to complement the couple’s elegant style. There’s something about old stone, formal gardens and natural candid moments that just works – a timeless feel you know will still look beautiful decades from now.
